Bought a few days ago, but just delivered 2 New Radiators (STD, plus an extra for the Trans.) new front rotors with ceramic discs, and Bosch Blue Shoes for the rear, and a Timing Belt and Tune Up kits for the Fire Breathing Dragon Gen3 4Runner.

@Frood .... you mentioned something once about VHS to dvd converters.

...does this fit the bill?

Ebay sent me a link.

Not saying it's the right item or not.

Maybe it is.

Maybe it isn't. Just thought I'd forward it tho

No.... it was a small unit that attached through wired ports.

128 GB of RAM for a Mac Pro for about $475 USD with durieis taxes & shipping included:

...figger I may as well buy now in case inflation sets in, drives the prices up.

Only thing that seems to be price stable these days & even goin' down these days is Tech - hardware and software.

But that may change as well.

So long as Tech remains depressed & companies are scrambling to survive there may be a few deals to be had tho.

Not sure what next year'll be like so I'll buy it all now.

Maybe prices'll eventually rise like everything else.

Couple months ago I bought a Mac for 2 reasons my Antique Thinkpad is is getting long in the tooth, and I found what looked like a decent buy on a used Macbook.....I sometimes like using my laptop on my deck in the summer and Apples graphics are pretty good, but tbh I pulled it out of the box turned it on, dialed in myu wifi, and saw it worked and that is how much time I have spent, it's my back up, and yeah I hear you bro, I should get everything transferred over before device #1 expires.

...actually I run Windows 10 on it much of the time @Frood.

If I'm a progressive, a pretty conservative one at that.

I'm reluctant to sign on to Apple's new M1 chip/silicon computers.

Most of the world/business still use Windows (95%+/99%?).

I'm sure most business clients would rather be serviced in Windows, so I got it on the Mac.

So if someone is looking for clients, they need to have Windows (Intel version) installed on their machines.

At least in the PC/Desktops/Laptops world, Microsoft Windows is still very much King.
Apple seems like a boutique item and a niche player by comparison.
Would be nice if more people used Apple, but unfortunately they don't.

Here's something else I purchased:

2022-1-oz-Canadian-Gold-Maple-Leaf-Coin-in-Hand.jpg

Canadian Gold...is one of the best cuz it's one of those which is least likely to be counterfeit. Buyer needs to beware as there are a lot of fakes out there these days.

Much of it originates from China

Wood furniture would quickly rot in a Wet Coast climate.

Yeah, because it rains so much, eh Senile @Joe?

It rains almost every day out there.

That must suck.

My furniture is not made of wood and would last forever, even in rainy BC.

Well I got some solid metaL patio furniture and it's built like a brick

Gets rained a lot and it's still intact.

Yeah it does rain a lot @The Prowler

A big, rusty brick, eh Senile @Joe?

You should think about upgrading to what I have.

Apparently what I got is better than the new stuff. It's a vintage brand that's no longer made. And it would be prohibitively expensive if it was still made today. I'll look for the brand name. But it's still considered high end

$500 or more for 1 piece is not uncommon

Fuck.

My sofa is on sale right now for $1349.99 plus tax.

But then you still need three sets of cushions which are on sale for $339.99 plus tax each.

That is $2678.05 just for the sofa, Senile @Joe.

What kind of cheap shit do you buy?

Yeah I agree Prowler

I told you they're not cheap.

Esp now since we live in inflationary times.
