So Jack was just messing with me for no reason.
Most GFMs get 100% ignored, unless you did something egregious and then use one to fundraise for legal defense. The black kid who stabbed a white kid to death drummed up about $600K that way, as did the white Karen who yelled "NIGGERRR!!!" at a niglet who was rifling through her shit.

But if you're not a willin' villain, you probably won't get much via GFM.

You told me to go ask another member about a Go Fund Me and another member said he was no good at it so why did you tell me to do that?
I know it's tough to read sarcasm on the board but sometimes you just have to deal with it.

This is a troll board after all. No one's forcing you to post here.

You know what? I have to issue a mea culpa here. When I first reacted to your pics, I did so in a callous and assholish manner. While that befits the social landscape of this board, it still wasn't right, and I apologize. I shouldn't have done that, regardless of whether it's 'the done thing' here or not.

I don't hear so well, it's a lifelong problem.
I'm just remembering when you told me your pic was a strangers that you grabbed off the net when you first started posting here and everyone was alt trolling you.

Why would you say such a thing if it wasnt true?

I began to suspect that that might be the case, and while it isn't worth much, you have my sympathy. As someone who's slowly and progressively losing his eyesight, I can understand how a sensory deficit makes life tougher for guys like you and I than it is for other folks. *Everything* takes more effort for us than it does for them, and they really have no framework for understanding that, which can be annoying as fuck in and of itself.

I have glaucoma and am slowly building a cataract in my right eye so I'll probably be legally blind as well in a few years.

As an aside: I was born with congenital cataracts; my parents decided, when I was 14 (not coincidentally, after I got plowed by a car doing 60MPH while I was crossing a crosswalk, with the light) that they were going to get my cataracts surgically attended to.
Had they waited two years, I'd have had the benefit of Lasik -- but when they put me under the knife, that was still experimental. So I got the 1950s version of cataract surgery.

A true delight.

But if you had cataracts when you were born LASIK wouldn't help that, right? And since you had them so long your eyes were probably lazy by then I know someone who has that.

Congenital cataracts aren't 100% opaque at birth. It's just, you start out having them, and they get progressively worse. Had I not had surgery to remove them when I did, they'd probably have been 100% by about age 30.
