It is not add that they are mostly white.

There are hardly any black or brown people in Vancouver.

And the Chinks have all the houses.

...and that's what happens when governments in your province or mine allow land hoarding @The Prowler.

This 2 year moratorium they government implemented won't do any good unless they break up those who are cornering or monopolizing the housing market.

I think the government should put limits on land ownership.

ie, Under a land limits proposal, a person could technically own as much land as they want, but with each successive home they own/buy beyond a personal home and a vacation home, the tax on each additional home will increase. So yeah, they can own 10 house, but if they do, the tax on the 10th one will be prohibitively high. And if they hide the land title behind proxy buyers, then the government will go after them. ie - if the relative is a waitress in a restaurant, but owns a $10 million home, the government will find out who bought it for them and tax them accordingly. This often happens in Vancouver - esp with offshore Asian buyers

Socialist you might say? Well, when you go to a store, say like Best Buy computers, and they place a limit on how many graphics cards or hard drives the customer can buy. Is that socialist? Or just making sure that other customers have the chance/opportunity to buy at least one for themselves? The store wants a fair customer policy. Otherwise the hoarders will buy up the remaining supply and sell it overseas to people in other countries hungry for products that would otherwise cost them a mint where they live.

what we have now in the real estate market is Monopoly Capitalism instead of true Free Market type. Land hoarding is not free market capitalism.

Another thing, places like the United Arab Emirates/Abu Dubai - they allow foreigners to make plenty of money, but they don't allow them to buy land or displace the citizens there. So do many other nations. so why do the governments of Canada, Australia or the US to buy up all the land so their citizens can't own it?

Dude, Liar @Joe went off on shit nobody was talking about.

That is what is boring. He gets these ideas in his head and he looks for threads to start ranting about them.

If you read what he said, it did not have anything to do with what I said here or anywhere else.

That is why I mocked him and called him boring with the "Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz".

So your entry into this thread was misinformed and clumsy.

I know you like to get in these "Last Word Winz!" battles.

But I am going to have to insist that you say something worth a reply...or you are going to have to play with yourself.

No. I read everything.

You're just a proven moron that couldn't debate, even if your tiny ass clit was swollen from you rubbing it vigorously hoping that you'd squirt out an adequate reply.

Try again, bitch.
