I did too when I first had it... but basil and oregano also, are herbs I binged on for awhile and went off them for good...

I still like garlic, ginger, cumin, and Thai concoctions, lemon grass, spearmint coriander, ... but not basil so much. And my favourite of all time is coriander actually.

Could not agree more. This past winter it was batch after batch of pea and ham soup. I use a smoked bacon hock that has tonnes of meat on it.... All the root veggies in it turnip, parsnip, swede, onion, potato and tiny amount of celery... a soup to die for. And of course, yellow split peas.
