Some of those are simply adorable!
They are cool but sadly, kids grow out of them so quickly. I can only imagine the most delicious woman I’ve ever laid my eyes on! cheque Michael Jordan receives from them when they sell.

Yeah, that's why I tend not to spend that kind of money when they're so little. And they're okay for when they actually walk, but when they're learning to walk, they need flexible soles. Like the following that have suede soles:

Didn't know that about the flexible sole thing. Cute shoes.

Was fussing with Shutterfly trying to pick out a photo album for my man with pictures of his sons. Then I had an epiphany...digital photo frame.

Costco.com came through...I can keep adding photos to it over time. :Excited6:

I took a walk down to the record store yesterday. This is why I can't go to the record store anytime soon.

Maybe One day it'd be worth the trip to see your friend's Museum, @Scooter

i'm not much into record collecting, but could be persuaded to if I knew what I was doing.

At this point I don't & I'd more than likely buy the wrong items.

But I recently attended a local Rock Music Collectibles event.

It was interesting. There appear to be many Old rockers trying to sell off their old stuff these days.

The 'museum' is what used to be the back room of the record store that he mainly used for storage. He took down the walls and opened it up. He has a lot of Halestorm and Kix stuff. Kix was a band from Maryland and they were popular in the area and nationally. Halestorm is actually from Red Lion and has their own slice of fame and fortune. He also has a lot of Thin Lizzy stuff because he's a huge fan. He's British. He just has a bunch of stuff that he's bought and collected over the years.

I'm not "collecting" records. I'm buying music that I want to listen to and I enjoy it. I didn't buy it so I could sell it. I'll take that vinyl to my grave.

Actually, Joe, you could look into opening your own little record store. Stock the new releases and such, whatever you can get your hands on. Rock, country, jazz, blues. Have some turntables in stock with some wireless speaker options or whatever. As far as buying collections and selling for a profit, you might get lucky but that takes years of experience and knowing how to bargain.

Uh...no thanks @Scooter.

I'm just a collector of stuff. I've met store owners who sell collectibles and records. I'm def not a seller and wouldn't make a very good one. Ya'd probably do a much better job than me. I just buy the odd stuff low and then try to sell it higher than what I paid for it. But that's just small potatoes. I'm not a dealer nor are that disciplined a buyer. as you say dealers buy in bulk like large collections. And they have a well-trained eye to know exactly what they're lookin for. They buy to sell to their customers. less than buying for their personal collections. and they have to be constantly selling to make a profit in order to stay in business.

Actually your job has probably 'trained' or already given you the 'sense' or ability to open and run a successful store I'd wager. Because you seem like a methodical type of person who is used to routine. I just buy shit here and there. I've no real concept of store organization.

I met a guy and his gf recently and they just opened up a hockey card/collectibles store. It looks very neat and organized. That's the kind of person/mentality you need to open and run any store like that. I bet collectible records and collectible hockey stuff has something in common. Plus they have to work hard and long hours for oft times little or no pay

I still have over $20K on my credit cards from last Christmas.
I applied for credit cards in the past and was rejected on all of them. Maybe that was a good thing because I would probably max it out in the first week. Credit cards require much responsibility.

You can get Cash Back and other benefits from credit cards.

My World Elite card gives me travel insurance.

Other cards add a second year warranty to major purchases.

My Costco credit card (I think it is a CIBC card) gives me 2% back on purchases made at Costco. I think it might be 3% for restaurant bills.

It all adds up.
