When we all had Covid here, even though my husband has been vaccinated....they still tested him because he could have had a variant.

The vaccine isnt going to help against variants. That's not how the flu shot works either. That's why people complain they still got the flu even though they had the flu shot.

You can still catch variants. And this vaccine will likely be an annual shot much like the flu shot.

People who are uncomfortable(which is completely reasonable and you really should understand that considering your anti vax stances against vaccines with far MORE research showing safety and efficiency) with this shot are not "fucktards" and the spread of variants is not on them. That would happen anyway.

Lotus, did you know that Covid variants belong to same family of Coronavirus'? With that being said, there are reports putting Covid in the United States way before the first confirmed case in the USA.

How is it with all the Covid variants running around some people haven't been infected? While others have been infected more than once or still have lingering effects of Covid from months ago?

As of all things in nature, our own bodies are the vaccine. Unfortunately, every body makeup acts and reacts differently from outside and internal stimuli. I sincerely believe that other Covid variants have been around forever and some people already have the antibodies from previous infections.

As you know pandemics and infections have certain paths they follow. With Covid-19 it wasn't going after everyone. Only the weak at first, then going after seemingly healthy people. Covid-19 does not infect everyone and when it does, it has a myriad of symptoms that doesn't follow the rules of biology, like prions jumping from human to dog, thus animals getting Covid-19 from humans or vice versa; which should have never happened in a million years.

In truth, we're way past Covid-19. We're likely on Covid-30 when you include all the mutations. As for the vaccines, it's a personal choice. Though, it's been announced people will need boosters in October.

America hasn't looked into testing for Covid antibodies because more than likely over 80% of the U.S. have antibodies which points to prior exposure, which blows all the world theories on Covid-19 out of the water.
