They're fundamentally disingenuous and manipulative people.

Don't. Ducks are vicious and freak me out. Seriously they have jumped out of lakes rivers quacking their asses off trying to get to me. Its disturbing and I've never done any wrong to them

.I find ducks rather agreeable. No bad blood between us. Now geese, they're another story - I've been lobbying the state to allow open season on them to feed the homeless and less advantaged.
. Ducks can get vicious in their own way when treated harshly though. There was this time when I was playing baseball as a teen - It was pre-game and an opposing player was just concluding his practice swings and had hit a ball a good way down the 3rd base line. He had a couple more cuts and is leaving the box, crosses home plate, and out of left field (literally) comes a Mallard at top speed..head high it flies through the box just vacated hitting the backstop. The thing was ripping and I believe had full intent to skull that kid (who I did not care for, and had the duck succeeded it would have been difficult to suppress laughter). The duck's bill was split as it lay dying.
. Might be wrong but I though that the ball hit a duckling or mate...something like that and that duck had tried to take its revenge.

.. Certainly. The league cancelled the game as we all transported the duck to the town clinic. Sadly, its neck had been broken and it expired on the way. Players and coaches all worn black armbands for the remainder of the season.
