Scratching things. I was given a cardboard lay-on-floor tray and Tigger liked to use it to clean his claws after visiting the litter box. Also, a scratching post and train your kitty to use that instead of clawing the fuck out of your rug and furniture because that is going to piss you off to no end and you'll feed the little cunt to the dog. LOL Have a place for your cat to sit in the window and look outside. I had a carpeted platform for a second story bedroom window. I also bought a cat tree for the first floor front room windows and other stuff. He didn't really take to it at first but he could sit there and watch what was going on out front while I was at work. He didn't play on it or sleep in it, although it served as a scratching spot with a little catnip. Mostly, he laid on the top perch in the mornings when I was sleeping on the couch, staring at me, are you going to get your lazy ass up and feed me? Cats like to sit on high perches and look down upon humans.

Here's an experiment for ya! Buy a blanket that resembles your kitty's colors, fold it into a bed and see where your kitty prefers to sleep. Tigger was a black and gray tiger cat. I had a black, white and gray patterned blanket and he absolutely owned it. He could sleep anywhere and on anything but he chose that blanket.

Their brains don't react to catnip until 6 to 8 months so don't get any of that stuff now (it dries out) and wait for Christmas to get her stoned on it.

Thanks scooter, I must get a scratching post tower, I forget that cats like to climb lol, she’s only a few weeks old and tiny, she’s ginger and white so I’ll look for that blanket.

My son put shelves going up like stairs on the wall in my daughter house, her cat is up there allot lol, I’ll get him to do that for me but when she’s a bit older, I can’t believe how tiny she is lol...
