Did they ever fix the problems? They're not complaints. They're issues that could be easily fixed in under an hour and it would make it a better forum and easier to navigate, potentially attracting more members.
Honestly I've never seen such sloppy coding in my entire forum life.
Did they ever fix the problems?

Re-read everything you wrote here. You're wrong on so many levels, and the ignorance is rather shocking, given that it's affected you to such a degree during your entire life.
1- LASIK doesn't fix congenital cataracts, it's a procedure done to reshape the cornea to correct refractive error. The congenital cataract is an opacification of the intraocular lens, the only treatment is to remove it.
2- If you had the 1950's version of cataract surgery, you wouldn't have had a replacement lens inserted into the eyeball, and you'd have been left extremely farsighted, and you'd have to wear really thick lenses that make your eyes look freaking huge. That is something LASIK could fix.
3- Odds are you vision doesn't correct to 20/20 since the reduced vision as the eyes continued to develop up until the age of 10 would cause amblyopia and nothing can fix that.

In fact I do that with every post I make, and often make edits to correct spelling or change the way I worded a particular phrase.

And?
I didn't say it was, you hilarious nincompoop. I had cataract surgery in 1989, and femtosecond laser cateract surgery was still experimental at the time, which is why it wasn't available to a 14 year old kid. LASIK wasn't available yet, either.LASIK wasn't around in the 1950s you moron.

Sure I am, d00d.No, you're making up shit about your eyes as you go along
No customer service, tut tutThere was an entire Category called "Rules". If you clicked it, the Subcategory had only two threads in it. Each had only one post. The first was the "Rules" thread, and the second was an Amendment to one of the Rules in the first thread.
I pointed out that an entire Category for 2 threads was a waste of space, and to combine the two threads and make it a sticky in one of the other active Categories and remove the Rules Category.
That was one of about a dozen suggestions and the only one addressed.
Sure I am, d00d.

Contact lenses with reading glasses. So did you ever actually get LASIK (or an alternative refractive surgery) after it was approved for high hyperopia a few years ago, or are you wearing really thick glasses that make you look like an owl? Or do you wear contacts.
Because those are the only 3 options.
Option 5: Go shit in your hat.Oh I forgot option 4, the most likely possibility. You're full of shit.
Contact lenses with reading glasses.

I turned 50 in September. Old, yes. 'Really fucking' old, no. In Oregon, in 1989, they weren't doing femtosecond laser surgery on people under 18, as it was still experimental at the time (so far as I was told.)Ok, so if that's true, and you had the 1950's version of cataract surgery which means no implanted intraocular lens (IOL), then you're really fucking old.
In fact, by the time I retired 2 years ago I hadn't seen an aphakic patient (no intraocular lens) in many years.
They were all dead.
Although you were younger than the average cataract patient but you're still old.

Femto is laser assisted cataract surgery, which has nothing whatsoever to do with whether or not an IOL is placed within the eyeball. That's been around for decades. Like I said I can't recall the last patient I examined that didn't have an IOL.
The only reason I can think of as to why your cataract lens wasn't replaced with an IOL was that it was a really long time ago and like I said that means you're really fucking old and you're making shit up about your age.

Or I was a 14 year old kid who didn't get it because (I was told) it was experimental at the time. I was a kid who couldn't get that surgery, not the doctor who performed it, ya smarmy motherfucker. I'm not an expert about this shit, get it?The only reason I can think of as to why your cataract lens wasn't replaced with an IOL was that it was a really long time ago and like I said that means you're really fucking old and you're making shit up about your age.
Funny guy. As if you are unaware that you can use the forum software to match an unknown alt with the regular member. It just takes one logon with the same IP to link it all together. If you're really that lost, maybe take a lesson from @Alticus, he's clearly more on top of things than you are.
And by the way how does it feel to have a perfectly good thread hijacked?
And you'd be right. Like I said, I turned 50 in September.I've known him around 20 years and had I been asked to guess I'd had said early 50s.

There are more alts here than regular members.
I was just trying to fit in.
Yeah, its like 7 of us (excluding you) playing sock puppet with 42 avg. daily active accounts.
Nobody has anything better to do.
