Shooter: Brandon Scott Hole. White Male. Fired Fed-Ex worker. 19.

These mass shooters scare me WAY more than gang warriors because a workplace, school, theater, concert, etc shooting can happen anywhere, anytime. Gang wars aren't exactly random shootings, you racist snowflakes.
Fucking honkeys are mindless killing machines!

Thank god this confused already on LEO radar for his widely known psychotically fuckedupness, this patriot was able to freely access guns. But hey, GUNS! amirite?

You are delusional if you think making guns harder to get or banning them would stop things like this.

Dont you guys say you want drugs decriminalized? How is the war on drugs going?

The government has no business infringing on our rights or telling us what we can put it our bodies. More people die from drug use and drug related crimes than shootings.

Its gross how hard you guys work to cling onto tragic events only to push your tyrannical political beliefs and try to act like it's a pass to take away peoples rights.....and how hard you work to ignore everything you cant use.

...but that isn't realy the point.

I'm just pointing out that a challenger who tried to kill the shooter with his gun was himself killed.

So...it's not just about possessing a gun in those istuations, it's also knowing how to use it & being sufficiently trained to prevent one's own death.

And most responsible gun owners know how to do that.

But you definitely can still get shot and killed.

The point is that if you have your own fire arm you have a much better chance to save not just your life, but other innocent peoples lives. A chance that is given to us as constitutional right that should not be infringed on.

Well, given the challenger's death, evidently they don't.

It's one thing to fire as a larget range hobbyist or shoot at a defenseless animal.

It's another when it's an assailant who's trying to kill you.

It's a completely different game, Dovey.

I know, because I've been there.

What about all the challengers in similar situations that took down a violent threat?

How does this ONE guy suddenly represent everyone?

That guy had a right to have his gun to defend himself in a situation just like that. He knew the risk and chose to take it. It's sad he lost that one, absolutely. But that doesnt mean that's ALWAYS how it goes down and that none of us should ever bother because we will just die a few minutes sooner than we would have if we didnt have one.

No, I'm not arguing about the challenger's right to own a gun.
I'm just saying it's somewhat obvious he made the wrong move.
I think he made a mistake.

He must have exposed himself when he went to his car to get the gun.
Otherwise the shooter wouldn't have seen him had he concealed his movements better.

Y'know when someone or something is trying to kill you, you don't give a shit who's right or wrong.

Your first thought is, "How can I make it out of this alive?"

In the end, it doesn't matter who was right or wrong.
Just who came out alive.

Did the person who went to the car to grab his gun actually have his weapon in his hand when he was shot and killed? Or was he going for his gun when he was shot and killed? Being in possession of and attempting to are two completely different things. Of course, if he was seen "going" for his gun and got shot, we can't say that it was a "fair" shootout between him and the assailant. In that manner, you can't say whether or not the person that went for his gun knew how to use it. There are a lot of people that "know" how to use guns that get killed by other shooters. Happens all the time. I do agree with you that in this situation, knowing how to use a firearm is way more relevant than actually just "owning" one. At least the guy tried.....rest his soul.
Exactly. The devil is always in the details. If the poor bastard went at him with anything less than a rifle, which seems most plausible, then he didnt stand much of a chance.

Well, in which case, that still denotes a lack of training on how to use the proper procedures under such circumstances. Guy would have been better of hiding behind a car instead of trying to play hero, Lokmeer.

But if a person is properly trainied in knowing how to react in those situations, how would he know that? Guy obviously got suckered into the marketing/advertising that the mere presence of a gun would make him invincible.

Even if he had the proper firearmrs he probably wouldn't have knkown how to use it or react quickly enough.
Thats just none of your fukin business josephine. If he wanted to make a run at the dude with a Bible and holy water, thats his prerogative. People in this fukin country aint about to have some cunt like you hold our civil rights hostage while you determine how much training we need.

No. it is my business.

Because if I were in the same or similar situation, I'd want to know what to do.

Incidently, these life and death situations don't just crop up in the US.

I think I posted this story before, but in my own city, a realtor got killed by somebody who was trying to break into his home aka a home invasion.

colin-hill.jpg

...so it's quite possible in this instance, a gun could have saved his life. But under this supposition, he would have still had to known how to react and what to do to defend himself and his family.

What do you think this Canadian real estate agent should have done in this situation to save himself?

Yeah. And he would have had to be close to his gun when it happened. You can't walk around with a gun in your hand 24/7. I laughed when they suggested teachers arm themselves. It would not be possible to teach with a gun in your hand.

Really Lotus?

They would keep the gun holstered and concealed until they needed it.

No one was suggested they keep it in their hand....wtf lol

Leftists are dumb. Everything they need to know is in a TV cop series.

Having a gun on your person is the norm in particular countries. Growing up during the political uprisings and terrorism in South Africa, teachers had their guns holstered on them at all times. When I flew to Zimbabwe from Australia in 2000 to help during the tyrannical Robert Mugabe land seizures and crimes, I had to wear my gun at all times, even walking into a bank. @LotusBud has no fucking idea how the world works when it comes to gun control. She shouldn’t be giving her worthless 2 cents worth when it comes to the 2nd amendment either since she doesn’t even live in America. This chick is going to grow old living on fried butterfly chicken in Portugal and grow massive unkempt chin hairs!

Did you hear of any cases of teachers getting shot to death in South Africa while on the job?

Not whilst armed, because word tends to get around. But there were various instances were unarmed teachers were burnt alive and hacked to death with machetes, and children raped/killed. South African media is heavily censored as with many other countries that require tourist to boost their economies.

Great news Patriots, the assault rifle used in yesterdays Fedex Shooting Massacre, were purchased legally!

So.

Exactly... the kid could have just as easily bought upper and lower receivers in the mail, or answered an ad in the for sale section of the local rag.

Could have done a B&E too...

Simple fact is, every day carries a risk.

That being the case, I'm glad I grew up in a less violent time, Lokmeer!

Actually I think it's this social media and the technology which comes with it, along with this pandemic, that's driving people crazy.

When everything matters to us which never really mattered before (what goes on in somebody's backyard) halfway around the world, people git excited about shit that doesn't really concern them. ie -if somebody flies a Confederate flag even tho it doesn't really affect/bother anyone.

Lotta shit used to happen, only we never concerned ourselves with it.

And it gives voice to work culture and other extremist movements to get worked up about shit that doesn't really concern them.

Out of curiosity, what gun did you carry?

.38 S&W when I was 17 years old until 21 years old in South Africa. I can’t disclose the guns I had in Zimbabwe since I wasn’t licensed to carry them. I just had the balls to do so with utmost disregard for my own life. This is what separates me from many of you couch politicians...

I think I posted this story before, but in my own city, a realtor got killed by somebody who was trying to break into his home aka a home invasion.

...so it's quite possible in this instance, a gun could have saved his life.

You're a fucking moron. You know the US is not South Africa, right? If it descends to the level where teachers have guns holstered on them, the USA will be a 3rd world country. It shouldn't be that way, and anyone who cares about it should do their best to make sure that never happens.

I pay taxes in the US, I have family in the US, I visit the US, I am a citizen of the US, and I taught in the US. I have more right to talk about the 2nd amendment than you do, you fucking submissive, know nothing hack.

Oh fuck off idiot. Go back and prattle your shite to another audience you fucking wetback!

Oh, and I might add: using Cold War terminology such as “3rd world” is tragically inaccurate. It’s like suggesting that America would turn into a developing country if teachers were to arm themselves??? You are such a media gimp with no personal political experience whatsoever! You should stay away from the political sub-forum Miss Portugal, it’s simply not your forte’...

And yet, South Africa is NOT the USA, Lotusbud.

I'd meet students from South Afriaca, and they told me they appreciated that they could walk around Vancouver without fear of ever getting attacked or possibly killed.

Some guy from Capetown told me that just the act of walking outside his home for a stretch could mean the difference between life and death.

From what I understand they board their homes up with bars to prevent breakins. So it seems a lot like Mexico, another dangerous country

So it seems a lot like Mexico, anohher dangerous country

When I walked down the street, I would be on edge. I basically had eyes at the back of my head because I was looking continually behind me so frequently. Many people would drive with their windows wound up. And then there were the bombs. Mandela’s bombs. Biden condoned the bombings in the mid-80’s. Yes folks, the newly “elected” bum_fuck that is the 46th president of the USA, condoned the killing of innocent people...black and white, coloured and Asian.
It’s a crying shame...

These mass shooters scare me WAY more than gang warriors because a workplace, school, theater, concert, etc shooting can happen anywhere, anytime. Gang wars aren't exactly random shootings, you racist snowflakes.

This is what separates me from many of you couch politicians...

.38 is a great defense round. Easy to control even in a snub. They've been real scarce here the last year though. 38 is pretty much the revolver version of 9mm. Tomorrow, we'll warm up with 38's before switching to 357's in the Python. Best thing about a revolver is it doesnt jam.

Biden has always been a sleaze bag who loves war.

I wish people ACTUALLY cared about it enough to be informed and NOT support these people....as opposed to just pretending they care and ignorantly support them

Really they just hate other Americans more they hate war and the other shit they pretend to care about.

Agreed. Mine was a secondhand police-issue revolver. The snubs were popular with the women as they would fit into their purses a bit better. These days I would have been more inclined to carry a Glock, as they’re very reliable, lightweight and carry more rounds.

I pay taxes in the US, I have family in the US, I visit the US, I am a citizen of the US, and I taught in the US. I have more right to talk about the 2nd amendment than you do, you fucking submissive, know nothing hack.

Biden has always been a sleaze bag who loves war.

I wish people ACTUALLY cared about it enough to be informed and NOT support these people....as opposed to just pretending they care and ignorantly support them

Really they just hate other Americans more they hate war and the other shit they pretend to care about.

The cunt basically said that South Africans were black people, and that the whites were either British or Dutch that had no standing.
America, Australia and South Africa were all being colonised at basically the same time in history by Europeans??? Australia actually 100 years later. The bloke is an absolute twat!

I think I posted this story before, but in my own city, a realtor got killed by somebody who was trying to break into his home aka a home invasion.

...so it's quite possible in this instance, a gun could have saved his life.

Isn't that exactly what I said?

And I quote, "You know the US is not South Africa, right?" That was my point. If the US gets as bad as South Africa, then it's no longer a 1st world country, and yes, maybe teachers will need to be armed. But who would want to live in the US under those circumstances?

PS, only parts of Mexico are dangerous. There are one million Americans living there. I spent time there in 2018. Never saw a lick of danger and had a really nice time. I didn't take a gun with me, either.

Big shout goes out to Mizzz Lotusbergenstein and her unkempt chin fluff!

When her feet are vibrated with a cymatic sound device, her toe hairs arrange themselves in a net pattern.

...spray it down in resin, and she's catching sardines as she does the breast stroke...
