i remember him, he almost shot tony soprano lol

Probably my favourite TV series. I plan to watch it again in a few years.
it was the perfect drama, even the greatest comedy ever and they werent even trying 2 be funny...

i envy ppl who havent seen it yet

Ive watched maybe 5 minutes of it altogether.... no interest whatsoever. Boring subject matter tbh....

u cant judge a show in 5 mins, no one who watches a whole episode isnt hooked

or maybe its u... what shows do u think r bingeworthy?

I don't think there's any advantage to owning an Apple computer anymore.

Senile @Joe, other than digital arts professionals, the largest Apple user base has been computer illiterates since the late 1980's.

Thing is Prowler - practically all of the programs that were once made for graphic arts types in the Mac are available on Windows now. I dont see any difference in their performance between Apple and Windows. They work just as good . VFX, CAD & 3D animation programs are mostly done on Windows or Linux. So unless a person just wants the prestige of owning a fancy boutique item, Apple isnt really needed anymore. Maybe a few programs like final cut pro are exclusively mac but not many others.

The previous Eco Drive was 450 bucks in 2007....very attractive polished SS and gold rimmed... this one was only 120 bucks last year. The old one still works but the capacitor in it needs more and more sunlight to not miss a beat.

Like every 3-4 days instead of 3-4 months....

I have a Seiko solar powered watch. I like it.

My old Seiko "Kinetic" charges with movement...it does not hold a charge for long now and needs servicing...it is probably a capacitor that needs to be replaced.

Many times I have looked at Citizen Eco Drive watches and almost bought one. It might happen. I have a bit of a watch fetish.

The watch is like a man's shoes and jacket with first impressions.

hahahahahahahaha teh in the fucking 80s:LOL3:

Because Progs like Macs....

...actually I run Windows 10 on it much of the time @Frood.

If I'm a progressive, a pretty conservative one at that.

I'm reluctant to sign on to Apple's new M1 chip/silicon computers.

Most of the world/business still use Windows (95%+/99%?).

I'm sure most business clients would rather be serviced in Windows, so I got it on the Mac.

So if someone is looking for clients, they need to have Windows (Intel version) installed on their machines.

At least in the PC/Desktops/Laptops world, Microsoft Windows is still very much King.
Apple seems like a boutique item and a niche player by comparison.
Would be nice if more people used Apple, but unfortunately they don't.
The righties here think anyone who is slightly left of Tucker Carlson is a progressive or a socialist. They are very confused.

I never watched the Sopranos, either, largely because I am sick of the mobster theme. I never watched it AT ALL. Not even 5 minutes. But I will watch it someday, when I'm bored. |Everyone on earth has told me it's great.

I know you didn't ask me, but I found Patriot, the TV show, not the movies, to be so bingeworthy. Was really pissed that they cancelled it. 2 seasons only. Very funny and very intelligent. On Prime.

The Great is also really funny. I love intelligent shows that are riotously funny.

Sadly, true. In 2021 I got a call from the dealer I bought my wife's car from. I got it $6000 below MSRP and they called back a year later offering to buy it from us for the original MSRP. I passed but laughed that a year old used car was worth more than what I bought it for brand new.

I bought another luxury car

What kind?

I am still on the fence about a new Corvette. The new option is to buy it, keep my motorcycle and my Z28, and drive it for a year or so, and then decide what to keep and what to sell. Low mileage used Corvettes (C8's) are selling for higher than MSRP.

This is how much I paid for my sedan 8 years ago and how much it's worth today.

It's kinda sad because it shows how much value the real lost

@realgrimm - I did good, though. There's a little independent grocery store just a 5 minute walk from my apartment. I got 9 broasted chicken drumsticks for $7 and also a couple deli salads. A 4 bean medley and their italian pasta salad. Also $7, $3.50 each. Roundabout. From what I understand, they make most of their deli salads in-house.

Currently, I am enjoying some cucumber salad which my wife made yesterday along with some fresh watermelon then, after the boys get up, we are off to Walmart to buy some fishing poles while my wife packs a picnic lunch. Then we are off to the local reservoir for fishing, picnic, and a bit of softball.
