At one point in my Junior year, I got a tax certificate from The Tulalip Casino reminding me that I was liable for the tax on my total winnings from the last year, which was a very suprising, $123,176.00. I never had the taxes withheld, because in my mind, I never thought I was over the the legal threashold of "money being owed" to the great state of Washington.

Here's some good advice to everyone. If you happen to strike it big at a casino, and the amount is over $600, have the taxes taken out right there and then. I lost a little of my bankroll having to pay the tax. It was a good learning lesson.
