Played in the $10k WSOP Main Event. Got knocked out on day 5.

I was in the small blind with A-K suited diamonds. Under the gun opened. Hijack position calls, and it folds to me. I three bet. Hijack folds, and under the gun calls.

The flop:

A(spades)-4(diamonds)-8(diamonds)

Under the gun bets half pot bet. I three bet again. They call.

The turn: 9(diamonds)

I make the nut flush. Under the gun checks. I value bet 30% of the pot targeting weak aces, or a smaller flush. At this point my whole stack is going in after the river. Under the gun calls.

I'm setting up a river jam when the river is the 4(hearts).

I jam all in and get insta called. I turn over my nut flush only to see that under the has pocket 8's and improved on the river sending me to the rail.

Massive cooler.

I'm happy that I cashed. Paid for most of the vacation.
