or you can be funny about it… but being a complete dick to anyone on this thread isn’t acceptable

I tore my rotator cuff. My cousin is saying that physical therapy will help resolve the issue. I kinda just want the surgery so that I can be a better pitching coach and actually throw the ball.

Thoughts?

Girl…lol. We are getting older. There is more tearing, spraining etc to come. Try the physical therapy first.

I already have so many issues. I played hard a a child and everything hurts *tears*

I have tendinopathy in both shoulders from swimming and I’m pretty sure this tear in my right has been there for decades from all the ball and overthrowing I did as a kid.

I’m going to my doctor today to discuss my options and I’ll take your recommendation with me for that. Thank you.

I’m headed to a Chinese herbalist to get a jump on preventative menopause treatment. My girl who is 49 just unloaded at dinner last night about everything she is going through and I’m shook.

If you have a grade 1 tear or above you now need to adjust your lifestyle or further wreck your arm.

Interesting timing on all this... I have all this fresh info as Ive been in Phys Therapy for the last 5 weeks working on my rotator cuff..... I did something while lifting heavier weights than my shoulders were ready for and that's that. Im getting a MRI in a week to see what's going on if tightening or a tear.

If you know you have a confirmed tear.. cortazone breaks down the rotator cuff long term, surgery of course will fix it, but susceptible to another tear faster, and will never be 100%. I was told if its a tear, prepare to adjust your workouts with no over head motion. (like a fast pitch womens)

I didn't take it seriously at first, but I started doing a bit of meditation using this "healing frequencies" and it worked for me

Not saying this is a treatment, but it certainly helps me dealing with pain and fatigue after workouts

I'll check that out, that might be what one of my PT's was talking about recently

You really should get medical advice from your doctor and not from random people on the internet.

That one I posted is basically a loop of two frequencies. If you match your breathing rhythm with them it's pretty amazing.

I was having pain on my left leg, I cracked my hipbone 25 years ago and sometimes I feel like it messes a bit with my sciatic nerve. The first time I tried that 528 hz video, I could actually feel the frequency waves reverberating down my left leg and the pain going away.

These binaural beats really work, I use them for sleeping too, my deep sleep improved a lot.

You have to use headphones for them to work, though. I'd recommend one with noise-cancelling.

I have had similar issues in the past @Murdock

Once had frozen shoulder.

So I went to a physiotherapist & acupuncturist at one point which helped somewhat. But it was resting that muscle or shoulder which allowed it to gradually heal.

I got frozen shoulder by sitting in front of a computer at work too long. You need exercises to get the blood flowing. Ice packs or a rubber water bag might help too.

Anyway I'm getting a sore shoulder again in the same place so I think I'm due for another session with the physio soon. Thanks for the reminder. $75 or so but it's worth it.

Have you considered getting a tens device? I bought one years ago at a trade show for less than $100 but never used it. But I think I will soon. Put a pad on your affected area, turn the machine on & it vibrates loosening up your stiff joints or muscles.

Exercise, good sleep, and a balance diet high in lean protein and veggies and decreasing sugar should help with menopause. If your body is in synch, as your ovaries decrease estrogen production, your adrenal glands are designed to release the estrogen you need so that you don't have the craziness of a difficult menopause..

Most women aren't in synch with what their bodies need...I taught a class on menopause a few years back. HRT should be approached with caution.

You need a MRI to see if you need for them to go in or not -

Watch out for the doctor that will milk you for the money -

I was a bowler for many years and had the surgery and couldn't bowl for one year and when I did my average went from a 196 to 146 -

I agree, a doctor visit for an MRI referral would be the best thing.
