An "assault rifle" has to have a selector switch such as safe, semi, three round burst. AR-15s, at least since 1984 do not have a selector switch ergo are not legally "assault rifles". That is just a scary term used by politicians to scare stupid people.

Canada doesn't really classify guns as "assault weapons." For the record, a true assault weapon would have the option for fully automatic firing, which haven't been legal in Canada since the 1970's I believe.

What Canada did, was ban many semi-automatic rifles, AR15 style or not. Or at least is trying to ban them... They're all still sitting at home with their owners, because a ban will be impossible to implement since many of these guns aren't registered.

And as far as hunting, the .223 round isn't really suitable for deer hunting and such, but is a popular round for pest control.

I've seen it myself when it's posted here and I asked @The Countess about IP banning. I didn't get an answer. I think it's someone who is "cloning" Seamajor myself.

This young lady has a lot harder case than Kyle Rittenhouse but she still deserves a right to self defense and the Kenosha D.A. is unlawfully trying to block her from asserting an affirmative defense.
