And by wacky woke history you mean I have been in honors history classes since prep school…. your narrative is pervasive.

You preach democracy while simultaneously speaking out against removing the electoral college and claim that it gives too much power to the federal government…. when it already does just that lol. That is ALMOST the craziest bunch of bullshit my eyeballs have read you spew and I’ve seen some doozies over the years…. and I seriously doubt this is a troll. I think you actually believe that you should have more of a say than my vote and I have paid more in taxes in the last 5 years than you will ever make in your life.
So you're against the Electoral College I see. Fair enough

So let me ask you how you would ensure the interests of let's say, a wyoming, are maintained at least to some degree in a union of states where many others have 20 times the population?

Do you feel comfortable with NY, Cali, NJ, Ill & Mass deciding the outcome of the next 1000 elections exclusively? And would you still feel that way if you weren't a Californian? A leftist?

Honest question looking for an honest answer

I need to research some of those states like NJ and Mass. I’ve already lived across the river from Illinois and I will say I’ve experienced firsthand why everyone outside of Chi town is considered a FIP ~ fuckin Illinois people.

Or perhaps you could clue me in on why this would be a bad thing….

North & South Dakota get 4 senators that represent fewer than 2 million people total.

CA gets two representing 39 million, totally fair, hmm?

Go look back starting decades ago with Frankfurt School and how marxist ideology was introduced and worked into the culture.

(removing most of yer C&P to save bandwidth)

Their entire rhetoric is Karl Marx rebranded and sold as a race issue rather than class issues.

Lemme help ya out a little. The Italian socialist Antonio Gramsci, who dabbled in academia and communism, is WAY off topic for this thread. Just cause you have this card in the same file box as all yer other stuff, doesn't mean it's topical here.

Also, the Frankfurt School is suuuuuch a gold mine of trollbait that you'll have trouble finding political trolls that know less than you about it. Do yourself a favor and contact @Reggie_Essent to coordinate a team for ya, and make a new thread. He's a veteran who's had Gramsci shoved up his ass, not just headfirst but also feet first and sideways, by multiple posters on multiple forums. Just give yerself a break.
Oooloooooo how smart you are. Now if only you had a nose your life would be complete

Well, @Blurt already stated in the OP, FIFTEEN PAGES AGO, who the players were on the A Team and the B Team. And it kind of seems like the B Team nominees have spent a LOT of time and tears trying to prove otherwise... instead of ignoring the thread or trying fifteen or twenty different hijacks.

But as they say, it's a free country. Go look at an Audi brochure, I'm sure that will help.

You’re saying that giving us all ONE actual vote is a bad thing because these states will rule everything? Is that it?

Yeah, I think it's an argument about differing gestalts. The ASSumption that people get from reading the federal constitution is that it's a VOLUNTARY federation rather than one that had to be placed on the Highway to Hell by the Great Compromise and the later Missouri Compromise, and subsequently tested in the crucible of the Civil War to see if it was really permissible for a State to secede. Turns out it was NOT OK.

So regardless of how often we speak of "sovereign States" the fact is that the states are just provinces like in Canaduh. And if we are serious about "one person one vote" the EC has gotta go.

However, the "worse than that news" is that all of those pols are in the tank, have been for decades, and whatever you may call the US it's actually a corporatocracy/kleptocracy.

A break from what? Having valid reasons to oppose the psycho left?

Pointing out its built on communist propaganda sting a bit?

You are in error when "pointing out" that anything of substance is "built on communist propaganda." What Gramsci failed to realize is that American research universities are built FIRST AND FOREMOST on research grants, and every high level professor in any subject, regardless of their personal political leanings, is gonna be getting money from the MIC and other corporate interests at the end of the day.

In a nutshell, the Frankfurt School at this point is a Straw Man since it failed long ago to accomplish any of its ultimate goals.

Is that so?

So exactly where was my error in pointing out FACT that this moronic idea that ONLY the right wing can be fascist/authoritarian came from a Frankfurt School leftwing "thinker"?

Because I can cite this. And this fuckfoolery seems to have really seeped into these hyperpartisan corporate party supporters. These useful idiots NONE of which vote policy.

I mean if you want to go beyond what i pointed out into a bunch of other crap touted by leftwing academia(communist propaganda) we could. I just prefer we stay on the points addressed until that's concluded before pointing out other stuff.

K?

Democracies are problematic. They always have been, and they always will be.

To give an equal vote to every person when people are not equal makes no sense. The opinion (vote) of one very intelligent person is worth more than the opinions (votes) of thousands of average people.

This was less of a problem when political candidates were all intelligent and would work honestly for the best interests of the masses. But somewhere along the line, candidates were no longer selected for their intelligence and honestly, but for things like their appearance and their likeability. That does not work when running a company and that does not work when running a government.

I always keep it simple and point out how gang rape is a great example of democracy.

Just imagine how bad things would be if imbeciles like Lily and Admin were allowed to decided the next 10 elections exclusively

good Lord, you think we're circling the drain now?

Wow! You're still holding a grudge for an asskicking I handed you five forums and a decade and a half ago.

That's, like, womanly grudge-holding.

Hardly, Your Faggishness. You and I have never conversed directly on this subject, but as I said earlier those asskickings were administered by several of your other betters.

I think it's safe to assume he was probably right and a bunch of "academia" indoctrinated leftists had a heart attack.

Have we finally admitted antifa is a thing yet? Or are we another year away from that?

I think I've had enough of you putting words in my mouth for one Friday afternoon. And frankly, you're trying to go places here that don't seem to be on topic. Have a nice day.

See how shitty and angry the response is?

Never fails. They can never discuss anything without getting all shitty.

Thank you, Peach. I WILL have a nice day :)

Also this is Meltdown.....so the rules are different. There is a TOS laying around somewhere that would probably help clear up some of this angsty confusion that often gets mistaken for "bias".

California wasn’t even part of the union when the constitution was written by a bunch of slave-owning, aristocratic men who didn’t way to pay their taxes.

When it was drafted, slavery was a major component of the economy.

Now these

Omg this is painful. What is the basis of your theory as to why this would be a bad thing?

You’re saying that giving us all ONE actual vote is a bad thing because these states will rule everything? Is that it?
No, what I am saying is that this is the United STATEs NOT United People

Do you understand the difference?

You call this United? I’m DEAD.
8 on the dismount

That was a 9 and you know it.

But I partially agree with you. We should be United. Lily also makes an excellent point tho.
I take it you remain unaware of what a unitary state is?

hint: think China

@Biggie Smiles ~ I’ve had a moment of clarity here. You are a reformed hoodlum, so you have seen what men who end up dead on the 6 o’clock news are up to… whereas I was a preppy athlete minding her own business who was terrorized by police as a teen for driving around on Tuesday aka crash night. I’ve seen the difference of how I was treated when I was pulled over with my white friends in comparison to how I was treated when I got pulled over with Big Taz and all of his friends.

That’s why I’m against police holding so much power and being militarized.

Correction. I have seen what men who end up dead 5ft away from me were up to right before they died.

And for the record, I am closer in color to "Big Taz" than you are and would certainly know more about unsavory interactions with police as I have had more than my own fair share of such.

Difference is, upon reflection, I can be honest with myself and say that 90% of the time I brought the consequence of such situations upon myself.
