imagine being so irretrievably stupid & morbidly dense that you dont understand that EVERY single patient in a hospital, no matter the root cause, first passed through the ER on their way to whatever area the ER designated they should go.
Without prejudice to the earlier question, i.e., "is the ER a triage unit?" .... this statement ^ ^ ^ in which the emphasis is yours, is simply FALSE. To your credit, I don't think you are trolling here, but rather, simply ignorant AF.
People enter the hospital in many instances through the front door, check in, and proceed directly to their beds.
Only for OR. If you have a surgery scheduled than yes.....you would go directly to check in. And a lot of those scheduled surgeries are out patient.....so they are not laid up in the hospital.
The vast majority of people admitted to the hospital went through the ER.
And this is leaving out Maternity. That's a whole other thing. It has it's own triage, it's own rules.
Oh pleez, I don't need you explaining this shit to me. Stubby's statement was simply not true, and you can spray all the rose water on it that you think it deserves.
Parse his sentence again:
"EVERY single patient in a hospital...first passed through the ER on their way to whatever area the ER designated they should go."
Regardless of its being a trophy thread for Admin., it's lost all its credibility at this point.
That's funny. I've been admitted to the hospital a few times, for child bearing and other things. I've never once been admitted through ER. Always through my doctor's office. Only time I went to ER was for a broken arm, and they didn't admit me.
It's adorable how Dove reworded Strapon's post for him. She's still angling to get him to take her back, imo.
