He has been around for a longtime. It was easier to ignore him way back when buzzzed off a few beers. The problem is I haven’t drank in so long and I have an alcohol allergy, so if I do drink most of the time I can’t even remember what I’ve said or done even off 1-2 drinks and it’s just ugly and I don’t want to be that person.

I was like that on beer. For years I would hear people saying that spirits is too strong...stay away from spirits. But little did I know that beer was my nemesis and spirits a blessing. Wine is a no-no for me too. Know your poison...

I get the same kind of bullshit from Canadian site people who knew me better as Gallium. A trolling alcoholic that was trying to balance the reality of his mother being eaten alive by insidious cancer. Just recently username @Blurt brought up my other username and it sparked an anger in me. The vision of my mother’s sunken-in skeletal features as she drew in her last breath and passed away shuddering in pain.

Umpires kinda run the game?

So that is the definition of Umpire-in-Chief for a baseball game. In MLB, they actually use a "crew chief" who will take charge of the umpires in discussions, etc.. So each crew of four umpires will have a crew chief who is usually the same guy in that crew for the whole year. He will be at any given position for each game (they rotate positions).

So I am Umpire-in-Chief for baseball games when I am the Plate Umpire.

But I am talking about a different use of the term "Umpire-in-Chief". It might be better called a "Head Umpire" or "Leader of Umpires". Basically I was responsible for a group of about 100 umpires; to provide guidance and training; to advocate for them if there were issues that expanded past something on the field; to supervise them; to communicate league or association issues to them; etc.

You can see on this Web page the use of "Umpire-in-Chief" that I meant, where the Umpire-in-Chief is a member of the Executive:

I have no idea why anyone would have an issue even if you were a little league coach and didnt have kids. There is nothing weird about that at all.

I know a wonderful couple that wasnt ABLE to have children of their own. But they still loved children and have always been active in their community and involved in coaching sports, the wife lead Girl Scouts. Nothing weird at ALL.
