Jun. 30—A 64-year-old man is facing charges in a child sexual abuse case that allegedly took place more than 10 years ago in Englewood.
Michael McCready was charged with four counts of rape and five counts of sexual battery, according to Vandalia Municipal Court records.
The majority of the charges stem from incidents that took place between Jan. 7, 2009, through Jan. 7, 2014. One of the sexual battery charges is from an incident that took place on or about Jan. 7, 2017, to present.
The victim is known to the suspect.
In February, the victim and her mother went to Englewood police, and the victim reported she'd been sexually abused by McCready when she was about 5 or 6 years old.

Yep. It's called the imprintung years and men (Italian usually) (and other cultures possibly) take their 14 yr old boys to brothals to get them broken in so to speak. I understand what male sexual imprinting is. But you make an awful lot of generalizations based on your knowledge of some specific people or specific practices. My only argument is that pe.do.phi.lia is not a 'gay" disorder. It's a sexual disorder that manifests in different ways. Yes. I understand it's bad. Thailand is worse. Attributed to poverty. As these things always are. Brazil is a very impoverished country. And of course, they are talking about sex tourism, so Brazil is the destination for people from richer countries. Very few claims can be made about Brazil as a culture causing this vs Brazil as a poor country being the cause.
