The EU, if they don't keep slipping right, is going to be the shining star while the US and the UK sink to third world status. Fucking corporate monsters reap what they have sowed.

And angry, uneducated poor people convince themselves the right is going to save them.

LMAO

Grow a brain, and maybe together we can solve these problems.

De donde me da la gana.
I think some of them will turn to the right in some numbers...but I think Labour will win.

I hope they can turn the ship around. What is it with Anglos that they can't help but feel superior even in the midst of depravation?

In their defense it was only a generation or two since 'The Sun never set on the British empire" It takes time for the psyche to adjust

5 years ago I met an American in Vancouver who was working for one of the top hitech companies in the USA.

This was during the height of Trump's presidency in 2019.

At that time, he told me he left the USA and moved to Montreal from California.

And I asked him why.

And he said it was because of Trump.

I could hardly believe what I heard.

Here, this was a guy who had all the trappings of privilege his country could give him. He was White, spoke clear American English, had a nice income from a leading tech company where he held a Senior Engineering role. He showed me a photo of his wife who was also White American.

Yet in spite of all these comforts and privileges they decided to move their family to Canada to escape Trump. Imagine that. Going from Sunny LA with balmy weather to the freezing cold of Canada. I just didn't understand what and why he gave this all up.

However, as I see events unfolding in the USA recently, I can kind of understand why you & he left @LotusBud

I guess you guys were ahead of the curve and could see what was coming.

That's probably what's coming for those who accept this corporatist agenda that AI will solve all and please kindly accept this paltry guaranteed income they're offering them on a carrot stick @LotusBud

I know, but it may be an indicator that many Americans could leave the US if Trump gets elected again.

Give the advances of technology and mobility, it's not as if many of them couldn't do their job elsewhere in other countries.

Of course that'll drain the tax base even further as the brightest leave the US for greener pastures because of a stifling political and social climate.

I thought I read that after Roe v Wade was struck down, many Obstetricians/Gynecologists are leaving these Red States were abortions have been banned and moving to California or New York where the procedure is allowed. So these Red States now have a shortage of these specialists.

So there's even a flight of professional talent moving to other states.

Not just Ob/Gyn talent, other people deciding enough with the petty authoritarian BS lets move to a state less boneheaded.
